Grab a Bargain Holiday

The sales team at Pillinger World Travel are finding that more and more people are looking to grab a bargain and book a late deal for this summer.  This is great if you just want a quick week away and don’t have too many specific requirements.  Whilst there are some great offers for last minute holidays, you have to be a little bit flexible on dates and where you actually go to.  You can always grab a quick getaway in 2 or 3 star properties; however most 4 or 5 star hotels are booked up well in advance, often by repeat guests. Generally if these hotels do have availability they don’t reduce their prices, in fact they are more likely to increase their prices the nearer the departure date is.

For those of you who want a particular hotel or resort, or even to guarantee daytime flights it is advisable to book in advance, the other advantage of this is that you can budget for your well earned break throughout the year, even making interim payments if you wish. However we do appreciate that some people can not plan too far in advance maybe because of work commitments, or even just hanging on to see how the summer weather in the UK is shaping up.
