New Attractions 2011

Florida is certainly putting its best foot forward for 2011 with a couple of new and exciting attractions and events planned throughout the summer.

Amongst the key highlights this summer you should look forward to the newly revamped 'Star Tours - The Adventures Continue' ride at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Those familiar with the previous version of Star Tours will recognize the ride vehicles and seating areas but the overall experience of this attraction has been greatly enhanced. After traveling through a queue that includes visual gags and a body scanner, riders don a streamlined pair of 3D glasses and board a shuttle. The ride takes place between the two sets of Star Wars trilogies, and features Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Yoda or other fan favorites in key roles.

Also, opening in the autumn of 2011, will be a big expansion to Dinosaur World. The expansion includes a 22,000 sq. ft. pre-historic museum that will feature everything dinosaur and a new playground. Dinosaur World is located along I-4 in Plant City.
